“Feminist Hysteric” is a personal illustration project born out of frustration. The kind that builds up during family dinners, when speaking up earns you labels like hysterical feminist from a sexist uncle across the table.
So yes: we are feminist hysterics, and we’re proud of it.
The visual was created as a statement, reclaiming an insult and turning it into a badge of pride. It was then screen printed on carefully selected second-hand garments and tote bags, giving each piece a second life while aligning the project with values of reuse and conscious production.
All items were produced and sold through a pre-order system, allowing for small-scale, intentional manufacturing and avoiding overproduction. Each piece carries both a message and a story. Political, personal, and collective.
This project sits at the crossroads of illustration, activism, and craft, using screen printing as a tool for expression and resistance.
